Power Cut Today

JPDCL has requested cooperation from consumers during the maintenance period.

Power supply in these localities and surrounding areas is expected to remain disrupted from 9:00 AM to approximately 2:00 PM.

Most affected areas will experience power supply disruptions from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

According to the electricity department, power supply will be disrupted from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

No power cuts will be observed on May 27 and May 28, 2026 on account of Eid-ul-Azha.

These shutdowns are planned for maintenance and repair work.

Officials stated that around 50 MW of load had to be shed to stabilize the system and prevent further outages.

BESCOM clarified that there was no official scheduled power cut announced for Thursday. However, the company confirmed that the 66/11KV Hossahalli MUSS F4 Feeder VL was kept open for maintenance purposes

The outage is scheduled from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM and is linked to essential maintenance tasks being undertaken by Mahatransco at several substations.

According to BESCOM, power supply is expected to be restored by 3:00 PM (15:00 Hrs) on Tuesday.
