Ranchi: Job aspirants in Jharkhand looking for a stable government career have a fresh opportunity, with the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) inviting applications for 37 Upper Division Clerk (UDC) and 16 Stenographer posts.
The recruitment is being conducted through the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Common Recruitment Examination-5 (CRE-5), a unified, single-window exam that fills vacancies across multiple central government health institutions in one go.

Syllabus & Eligibility Criteria
For Upper Division Clerks
- Degree of recognized University or equivalent
- Working Knowledge of computer including use
of Office suites and databases.
For Stenographers
- 12th class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University
- Skill Test Norms:
Dictation : 10 minutes @80wpm
Transcription : 50 minutes English or 65 minutes Hindi only on a computer.
Age Limits
Age limits for both the posts is fixed at 18-27 years of age.
Application Fees
- General/OBC Candidates – Rs.3000/- (Rupees Three Thousand only)
- SC/ST Candidates/EWS – Rs.2400/- (Rupees Twenty-Four Hundred only)
- Persons with Disabilities – Exempted
Note: Application Fees of SC/ST candidates who appear in the Examination will be refunded in their account after the declaration of results.
Date of Examination
The Computer Based Test (CBT) is planned to be conducted on 25th July 2026 to 27th July 2026(Tentatively).
Last Date To Apply
The online application window opened on 13 June 2026 and will close on 3 July 2026 (up to 5:00 PM). Candidates are advised not to wait until the last day, as the official portal often sees heavy traffic close to the deadline.
