Unscheduled Power Cut In Bangalore Today (14 May)

Bengaluru: Several localities in North Bengaluru, including Vidya Nagar, experienced unexpected power cuts on Thursday, May 14. Residents reported significant disruptions in electricity supply, with many taking to social media to voice their complaints.

The Bengaluru Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) later acknowledged the issue and provided a tentative timeline for power restoration.

BESCOM clarified that there was no official scheduled power cut announced for Thursday. However, the company confirmed that the 66/11KV Hossahalli MUSS F4 Feeder VL was kept open for maintenance purposes. This maintenance activity led to power supply disruptions in several parts of North Bengaluru.
