Scheduled Power Cuts in Several Ranchi Areas Including Namkum on Saturday for Maintenance Work
Ranchi: Residents of several areas in the state capital will face scheduled power cuts on June 20, 2026, as the electricity department carries out maintenance work, LT line repairs, and pruning of tree branches near power lines. The department has appealed to consumers in the affected areas to complete any essential electricity-related tasks before the scheduled outage timings.
Tatisilwai: Power cut from 10 am to 12 pm
In the Tatisilwai region, maintenance work will be carried out on the 11 KV Old Tatisilwai, Kochatoli, and Rampur (Silli) feeders under the Tatisilwai Sub-Division. As a result, power supply will remain suspended in several localities from 10 am to 12 pm.
Hindpiri: 3.5-hour outage for LT line work
In the Hindpiri area, LT line-related work will be undertaken in Gwalatoli, Kurban Chowk, Badi Masjid, Guru Nanak School, and Lower PP Compound. Power supply in these localities will be interrupted from 11 am to 2:30 pm.
Shutdown also at Lalpur and Namkum station feeders
To allow for the pruning of tree branches near power lines, supply from the 11 KV Lalpur feeder will be suspended from 10 am to 11:30 am. This will affect Koker Bazar, and surrounding areas. The 11 KV Namkum station feeder will also see power disruption during the same period.
The electricity department has urged consumers in all affected areas to complete necessary electricity-dependent work in advance, given the planned outages.
