Even though my cookies have nothing conversational about them, I somehow thought that something sugary in the shape of a heart would be a nice substitute to those candies.

I can’t say my truffles turned out quite so creative as those in Cape Cod, but they are dark, rich and creamy and would be perfect to give to that special someone (even if that special someone is yourself).

Keep in mind that this recipe may not yield what you know to be an eclair

When using a recipe like this one with so few ingredients, the unique flavor of the coconut palm sugar comes out more and doesn’t taste quite as good. But feel free to experiment!

One aspect of this recipe is marshmallows. As most of you may know, standard marshmallows are neither vegan nor vegetarian. Chicago Soydairy sent me a couple of bags where the marshmallows were intact and looked exactly as a bag of marshmallows should.
