City Foods, Inc., a Chicago, Ill. establishment, is recalling approximately 3,215 pounds of ready-to-eat pastrami and corned beef products that may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes, the USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced.
The products were produced on July 16, 2026, and have a 60-day shelf life. Affected items include:
1. Midamar Premium Beef Pastrami
2. Bea’s Best Cooked Corned Beef Brisket
3. Kirsch Delicatessen Style Cooked Corned Beef Brisket
The products were distributed in Illinois, Iowa and Michigan before being shipped to other locations nationwide.
No illnesses have been reported in connection with the recall. Consumers are urged not to eat the affected products, they should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
