    Indigenous aromatic rice variety with a natural fragrance (distinct from Basmati), fine grains, soft texture, and nutritional benefits (including omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids). Grown traditionally in Assam, it is valued for its taste, digestibility, and medicinal properties. Recently, GI-tagged Joha rice has been exported to the UK, Italy, and other countries.
